New Driver

im looking at the nike sq sumo 5900 and the sq sumo 5000 driver but cant decide which one would be better for me, also what loft i would be better suited to please help....

Can I also say go to a place where you can try each club out and then get it custom fitted for your swing.

Will save you money in the long run as you'll know you have the right club to start with.

Hit them both and you'll know Steve.  I have the round Sumo but tried the square one before I bought it.  I hit it twice and didn't pick it up again!  I was uncomfortable with the look at address and the noise it made when I hit the ball was bloody awful!  You might feel differently though. 

I got the square one 5900 11.5 regular,,,I find a bit more loft makes for a straighter shot...and it goes very straight, as long as I remember to swing correctly. but with this driver the swing feels very easy. First time I used it (last week)  I won a competition with 37 points (stableford) in very windy conditions.

I have the sq 5900 10.5 stiff shaft.

When i went for the fitting i tried virtually every driver they had and this was better than anything else, I liked the 5000 but it was the loudest club i've ever heard.
