Anyone palyed Bishopswood GC or Sandford Springs GC

Posted by: user76256 | Mon 17th Nov 2008 12:25 | Last Reply

Some help please

I am visiting Hamshire next month and looking to play at least 1 round. Both of these courses are near our hosts but wonder if anyone has played them / nkows what they are like.

 Thanks

Terry

I have played Sandford Springs, in fact I almost joined there. It has three loops of nine holes, all very nice with an excellent clubhouse. May I suggest you give my club a go, Sherfield Oaks, which has two very nice courses. Situated on the A33 north of Basingstoke.

I think the Waterloo would be the best for you, Terry, as the front nine presents no real problems, the back nine though is a different kettle of fish.

Had a great game today, my opponents were once again showing off and drilling the ball miles with sexy hints of soft draw and we were thrashed 5 & 4 (Ouch!!!). Tomorrow is the Op and thanks for your thoughts.
