Relaxing Scoring Method

Posted by: user50354 | Mon 3rd Nov 2008 12:46 | Last Reply

On Sunday our usual knock about gang decided not to score and just play golf.

So I decided to do the same until of course I parred the 1st and bogey'd the 2nd. Mmmm I know I thought - I will enter BD for net birdie P for net parr BD for net bogey etc etc and so I did..

The result was, I played each hole by hole and each shot by shot in a much relaxed manner not knowing my score until after my yorkshire puddings had been scoffed.

Ok a big "X" on the card meant you cannot revert to a stroke play count up but from a stableford point of view that don't matter..

So next week I will do the same and maybe all winter - just playing that way "BD" "P" and "BG" with a couple of "X's" along the way..

Try it yourself - it's free......
