North East Group 1st Sortie
The North East group had it's 1st sortie on Saturday gone when Brian (Robson) joined me and Tony (Dunn) down at Knotty for a bit of crack and a knock. We kept telling Brian it was not windy and it was not cold and at one point he was almost convinced - but all good lies must come to an end sometime and when the winds reached 60 miles per hour we held our hands up and admitted yes, it was windy...
Still the conditions did not dampen our spirits and although the score cards were dogged with "ah the wind took that" kind of stuff it was still a good meet up. If it were not for golf shake this kind of get together would not happen and now we have another golfing buddy...
More of the same please - come on you North Easteners, make your voice heard..
Nice to meet you Brian - next time who knows - it might be real windy...

I thought we showed Brian perfectly how not to play the course in a force 9 gale, or just how not to play it in any conditions for that matter
Still it could have been worse I could have been at work
Cheers Brian twas a good day.

Not forgetting Matt. Our buddy from Crook.
He also likes to party on the course and wears silly hats just like us...
At this rate we will have more course's than Keegan's had come backs ...
