golfing accident

Posted by: user118394 | Sat 18th Oct 2008 19:28 | Last Reply

me and a few friends were playing last week when 1 of them caught a tree with his follow through the club bent round the tree then snapped, the club face hit him in the mouth causing 2 teeth to get knocked out and split his lip so we took him to hospital as it looked pretty bad.he got looked at and ended up with 43 stiches inside and outside his mouth he had ripped the muscle off the inside of his cheek and a hairline fracture of his jaw !!!!!!!!

and i thought golf was a gentle sport !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You see, this is what happens when you play golf by the book as some people like to preach about.....The way I see it, if I'm behind a tree, or in some rocky areas, I'm just taking a drop because I'm surely not inclined to ruin a club, much less my very expensive teeth.

Hope your friend is ok though.
