New Clubs, any good ?

Posted by: user123026 | Sun 5th Oct 2008 12:20 | Last Reply

Just started playing golf last month after inheriting a set of clubs.  Can anyone advise on what clubs to keep or replace to give myself a good start.

I have:

Driver - Nike SQ Sumo 9.5 deg

3 Wood - Regal Power Plus 15 deg

Rescue - Slazenger K1 Speed 21 deg

Irons - Howson Tour Line 4 - PW, SW

Lob Wedge - Forgan 60 deg

Putter - Odyssey, White Hot XG No 2

the driver is a bit low lofted for a new player i would advise on at least 12 degrees to start with maybe even 13 degrees.everything else seems ok,even though the irons are a bit old they will do you untill you decide if you like the great game.

hope this helps
