Considering Upgrading driver - Thoughts

Posted by: user50354 | Fri 26th Sep 2008 12:48 | Last Reply

May be upgrading my driver to hopefully increase yardages. Currently useing a Wilson Staff DTi 5 which bags me 210 yards normally.

Now, playing regularly "off white" comps I am looking for a tad more out of a upgrade. Been thinking on the following:

Cobra F Speed LD - 08

Cleveland Hibore XLS (gold)

Nike Sasquatch Sumo Square 5900

Been left handed it is difficult to try before buy (although I will be giving this option a coating of looking at) and wondered if anyone has any thoughts on the above and if one is your driver whats your average distance..

Cheers

Not a technical comment or anything Robbie, but those Nike Sumo's sound like you're hitting a ball with a wok!

Robbie,

Try the M Speed Cobra as well.  Tuned for a slightly slower swing speed, seems to work for me.

Much like the Nike make a hell of a din when you hit it though.

Well guy's managed to test a couple and went for something I never really thought of - it is absolutely brill with its effortless distance.

Yep Dave maybe my distance accidentally leeked out but with my wifes pay increase the new celery got me the Mizuno mx560 which goes much further
