Any ideas how to construct a draw ?

8 of us are going away on a golf break, we have split the sides into 2 teams of 4

 We will be playing 2 rounds a day for 3 days so 6 rounds

 Does anyone know a simple quick method to ensure all the members of the team play together the same number of times and also play the opposition players the same number of times

 I.e team 1 = player a, b c and d say

team 2 player e, f g and h say

 Any ideas as im stuck ? I have searched the net and not found anything of much help

I don't think it can be done. 4 players, 6 games. You would need 8 games to play each other twice.

Team A: players 1, 2, 3, 4

Team B: players 5, 6, 7, 8

Game 1: 1 & 2 against 5 & 6

2: 3 4 against 7 8

3: 1 2 against 7 8

4: 3 4 against 5 6

5: 1 4 against 5 8 or 2 3 vs 5 8

6: 2 3 against 6 7 or 1 4 vs 6 7
