Monthly Medal and Up Against It
It's our monthly medal this Sunday and I am really up for it after a shaggy round last weekend. Not expecting a win tho but will be giving it my best shot..
In my group of 3 I am up against one of the 2008 club champions - the winner of our elite competition "The Mens Rose Bowl".
Will be interesting to see how I fair against a true champion off the whites.
Hope the weather is kind
Anyone else up against the odds this weekend...

I've got to try to keep my sanity while stuck in Seattle and New York on my own for the weekend. Does that count?

Chris, I am intrigued as to how you are spending the week-end in both Seattle and New York, considering the vast distance between those two fine cities.

Robbie,I suspect one of two things may occur, either some midas rubs off on your game ,or you bring him down to your level!! lol. Enjoy anyway bud.

Don't worry about the "flower pot" winner Rob he probably just had one lucky round on the right day, no doubt the three hundred yard screemer you usually hit on the first tee will scare the life out of him......

John and Dave, would I ever lie to you?
It's Friday and it's my second night in Seattle. So far this week I have visited New Jersey, Dayton Ohio, Los Angeles, Anaheim, Seattle and I spent today in Yakima. Tomorrow late morning I fly to New York where I will stay until Monday morning (got Sunday off and any recommendations for touristy sightseeing stuff greatfully accepted). I'm in New Jersey Monday, then I fly to Chicago for a day, then Los Angeles, then Yakima, and then back home (via Vancouver).
18 flights in 12 days. Think of the airmiles Chris, just think of the airmiles..........

Chris, take a stroll in Central Park.

Going to do that John. Found a bus tour that takes you to all the main ones; Broadway, Times Square, Empire State, Madison Square Gardens and, most important one for me, Ground Zero. For $49 (£25) you can go round for the whole weekend getting on and off as often as you want. Figured that was the best way to see it all. Note to self: ensure you dress in an embaraasing way (get fahion tips from Santo) and hang camera round neck.
And even better, there's a golf store 5 minutes from my hotel that's doing the latest Ping and Cleveland wedges for half the UK price! The missus will be pleased when I get home.......
