How widely accepted is the golfshake handicap cert?

Posted by: user101429 | Tue 17th Jun 2008 11:51 | Last Reply

Hi,

I've just registered with golfshake and will be posting my scorecards for a handicap certificate. Can anyone confirm if this cert is accepted by top clubs like St.Andrews etc? I am hoping to visit St.Andrews for a friends 40th and have read a certificate is required with a handicap of 24 or better.

Thanks,    John

Hi John,

Welcome to the site!!! The golfshake.com Handicap Card is recognised at thousands of golf courses throughout the world. The venues of our travel partner Golfbreaks.com will recognise this card and so you should have no porblems in using it. However, we always say, that if you are unsure of the handicap requirements then ring in advance and check with the club directly.
