Wedge Grinding

Posted by: user59060 | Thu 12th Jun 2008 18:27 | Last Reply

Hi,

Has anyone ground the base of their wedges and if so how much should be taken off and does it make much differnce? I've found an old lob wedge which I haven't used for ages and am about to dig out an angle grinder.

Lad at work took all the bounce off his.  He had it ground into a rounded shape.  He seems to like it but when I tried it all I did was dig a roll of turf suitable for sale in the local garden centre.  He does play off 3 though......
