US Open

Posted by: user84923 | Fri 6th Jun 2008 10:12 | Last Reply

I was reading about the groupings for the US open this morning and noticed that the top 12 players in the world are all grouped together for the 3 balls over the 1st and 2nd rounds...

Woods, Mickleson and Scott (1st, 2nd and 3rd) Ernie Els, Justin Rose and Geoff Ogilvy (4th, 5th and 6th) KJ Choi, Jim Furyk and Steve Stricker (7th, 8th and 9th) Stewart Cink*, Sergio Garcia and Vijay Singh (10th, 11th and 13th)

The only variation from this is Cink who is 13th in the world... I can only think this is because last years winner (Cabera) is playing with the Open winner Harrington.

Is this normal?
