Lo guys, ive been looking for a new driver!!! At the moment im using a callayway big bertha II 10.5 fitted with a reg graphite shaft. My 3 wood is the same (only with a stiff flex shaft) my titeliest dci 990's also have stiff shafts. Trouble is im getting this slice with my driver :@ , so i thought, lets buy a new 1!!!! Hahahahaha. Been looking at the nike sumo drivers, but there r so many to choose from! Loft, shaft, square/not etc etc . Has anyone used or owns 1 of theses clubs and could guid me in a direction to go for please!!!!! Many thanks

James. Go on the callaway uk site. They have a good online specifier.

I've got the Sumo driver.  I tried the round and square and much prefered the round, both for an asthetic and playing view.  I went for 10.5* as it gave me the best ball flight.  Quite forgiving but get the right shaft for your swing speed (too soft and you'll push it).  Been good for me.

I cannot understand your reasoning, James, by your own admission you hit the ball exceptionally well (Pearler) from the tee and the fairway, yet you are prepared to be guided by someone in a golf shop, to advise you on what is the best club for you.

Nice course Woodbridge, long time since I played there, but used to be a member at Frinton.

Whether it is your driver, three wood or your pitching wedge. my point was that it was rather odd to rate someones opinion in a golf shop and to take his word for it.
