The weather this week has been brill up to now around my place. has the rain finally gone...

Probably just ganging up ready to pounce Sunday morning as I tee off..

Well done Robbie.   Chucking it down here in Nottingham and was supposed to be out on the course at lunchtime today

Throwing down this morning, but brightening up here in Birmingham/Wolverhampton.  Hope to get a knock tomorrow afternoon.  Anyone fancy it?

You could always try my famous rain dance which has worked for some :

Stick right hand thumb into mouth and move around in a circle slowly at first building up rythm. Now to penetrate the atmospheric pressure which in turn will move the rain clouds to the nearest area of sea you should make the following chant:

Eeeeyabugga - eeeeyabugga - eeeeyabugga - eeeeyabugga

Stopped raining....

Hope you have a good round today Darren.  We had our first society day out at Cotgrave Notts yesterday.  Teed off under cloudy skies with drizzle at 11am but by 11.30 sunshine and no wind. 

Played Monday evening in the wind to boost my confidence before yesterday and shot 113 as my swing fell apart in the wind.  No wind yesterday and sneaked round in 97.  Roll on summer.

Thanks Robbie.  Sun came out at 11am until 2pm, guess Notts is getting the weather from Wolverhampton that Chris is getting.

Unfortunately some one did the wrong rain dance and it's hail storms and torrential rain in Notts, hope it;s not much. 

Thought the good weather was coming until got caught in a thunder and lightning storm in West Sussex yesterday.  Hmmmmmm, that got the adrenalin going (well I could smell something, must have been the adrenalin!!)

Supposed to be a scorcher tomorrow so back out again in the morning, bring it on....

Just checked out the met office web site and after some rain tonight and a few showers tomorrow the weather looks set fair and warm for the week so book a round now.

Got caught in all the rain on Thursday evening. Tee'd off in glorious sunshine on the 1st & was sheltering under trees from lightning & thunder on the 3rd!!

Glad the weather held out for Saturday though. Hope it's ok for next week as I've 2 comps to play in.

Must admit I led a bit of a charmed life with the weather last week.  Played Monday night and watched the showers skirt all around the course but not come over it.  On Wednesday played in the morning in reasonable conditions and when I walked off the course at lunchtime the heavens opened.

Played 3 times this week all in scorching sunshine. Look a little like a lobster but canny beat a nice round of golf in the sun
