Pencil bags

Do any of you use these?
I borrowed one yesterday to try some clubs out only had 8 irons in there but i though it was ok . Would they be ok to carry all my clubs in?
Just on thursday nights i play 9 -14 holes and sometimes its a bit of a hastle to put everything in the car, big bag, trolly, battery.

I carried until I was 62, when I had my first heart attack, the bags of yesteryear, designed for carrying, were fantastic, I have seen nothing these days to match them.

I use one for short courses where I only need a few clubs. 

Could carry two pencil bags matt....
