Forged or Cast

Posted by: user77012 | Thu 17th Apr 2008 20:05 | Last Reply

Forged or cast what floats your boat??

I personally love forged clubs been playing forged a long time now . I just think they are nicer looking with great feel.

Still own a cast set my original clubs from many moons ago my Ping Eye 2's.

I have only just changed from cast to forged when i replaced my Fatshaft Irons with a Mint set of Taylormade 300's (you will see that ive been banging on about this in other posts), and for me i would not change back to cast. The look and most of all the feel of these clubs is unbelivable. The feedback that you get from these is great. (yep im sounding like a TM Rep here i know)

I can only recomend that if you havent tried a set of forged irons, you need to!

David, I treated myself to a set of vokey oilcans for christmas, very nices wedges. Tried out the Forged Nike wedges before i opted for the vokeys thou and was tourn between the 2. (have to say that i think i was swayed by the marketing and opted for the vokeys in the end).

The chikara's i have are the early prototypes  with a special grind and a milled face, and are well received around the world. For me i can only get the best out of them on hard packed conditions which we dont get much of. I prefer my Epon wedges which i think will remain my gamers this season. http://www.tourspecgolf.com/proshop/p1684/Epon-Forged-208KGX-Wedge/product_info.html   These are my gamer irons http://www.tourspecgolf.com/proshop/p1431/Epon-AF-501-Irons-5-PW/product_info.html   And this is forged golf porn http://www.tourspecgolf.com/gallery/main.php/v/import-irons/

Colin buy them and you will break 80 i promise.....Danny the finish on the retail chikaras is a lot better as the black wears off pretty much staight away.

Jonathan 67's nice choice.
