Medals

Posted by: user69350 | Sat 12th Apr 2008 21:32 | Last Reply

Hi all, I have just joined a club for the 1st time in all the 17 years of playing golf and going to go in for medals, anyone got any tips for going for them apart from trying to keep calm and just enjoy... I play reasonably well with a handicap of 12.3... Any tips would be great and much appreciated...

Thanks

Mark,

I played in my first medal last week & I went into the round without any expectations, good or bad. That seemed to keep me calm when I hit a bad shot. You can obviously play to a good standard so good course management will play a key part. If your in trouble take your medicine.

Good luck.

John.
