Urban Golf -- Great Saturday night out

Posted by: user9368 | Sun 16th Mar 2008 21:43 | Last Reply

Visited Urban Golf in Soho last night for a society social with a difference (or not) and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. We played the 6 best holes on St Andrews on a 4 ball better ball format with gimmes from 10' (they obviously havnt seen me putt )

Set us back £40 per hour and 8 of us managed to play the 6 holes easily in 2 hours. Waitress service on the tee box, The laid back atmosphere, the fact that we all could watch every shot and the great club selection on offer made it a highly enjoyable night.

Highly recommend it. Worked out £10 per person plus beer (approx £3.50 a bottle)

Perhaps Darren could organise a golf shake event on Pebble Beach during the winter months.

That would be a cracking Idea. Not sure if you could allow it for working toward your handicap

We found the simulator to be very accurate, replicating hooks for those who normaly do and slices for those partial to a bit of the old power fade. Obvioulsy my driving, iron play and putting where awesome just like in real life
