Southern players wanted - North vs South 2008

There are currently 31 Southern team members and 30 Northern members and there is a maximum of 34 per team allowed if we decide to increase the numbers.  

At present there are a few people on a waiting list to join the Northern team but before allowing these to join and am trying to ensure that the Southern team are also able to muster some additional support.

Listed below is a breakdown of those taking part and teams. As you will see the 1st two in each group are Northern team members and 3rd/4th are Southern.

Chris P. the draw has not been made yet, Captains are deciding the pairings and then the draw will be made.

Need to check on Monday if okay to have day off but I hve senior management approval from 'er indoors so I may well join you if players needed.  Would mean I wouldn't play at the South Winchester game though.

Thanks for the offer Col but I'd need to keep expense and time to a minimum so I'll blast up early Monday morning - not too bad from Southend straight up the M11.

Just to confirm we now have 2 teams of 32.  So 64 in total.

I do have an additional tee slot but will hold this back unless we get any others wanting to play for the South team, the North waiting list contains about 4 names.

Guys, how does this all work??  Do you all meet up somewhere?

we all meet at the venue. there are about 20 of us going up the day before for a round then staying over the night.

Then the Southern softies buy us all beers after they've had another good thrashing
