Golfshake events and Order of Merit

There is still time for you to register for the Southern Cup at Donnington Grove on monday. Walk into your managers office right now and tell him that you need monday off! As well as the competition, I am delighted to announce that putting coach Phillip H Gazeley will be giving a demonstration of his innovative 2 thumb putter grips at Donnington on the monday morning.

This year we are going to be running a golfshake Order of Merit in order to find the greatest golfer on golfshake! The winner will recieve a prize pack worth £200 thanks to golfbreaks.com as well as considerable bragging rights here on the site! To be in with a chance of winning, you just need to play in at least two of the golfshake events this year, as your best two stableford points scores will be calulated to give you an overall score.

The newest addition to the golfshake events calender is the Northern Cup at Hollins Hall. Lets hope that all you Northerners give us as good a turnout as we have recieved from the Southeners for the Southern Cup!

....on the subject of border relations, the banter surrounding the North v South match has intinsified! Check out the forum posts reasons why North is better than South and the eternally popular choice of captains for the North v South.
