How I got into golf

I got into golf by accident, I, by trade, am an IT contractor. and create websites for people I know. I use a hosing srvice, the same one for all my sites.

Anyway In January I got a mail from the hosting service to say I'd won a prize in the annual draw. I ignored it thinking it was spam.

10 days alter a boxed set of cadiegear extreme clubs arrived, with trolley, 250 balls 1000 silver castle tees adn a voucher for american golf shoes.

Now to do the lottery!!!

I got into golf prob the old fashioned way, i started to play when i was a kid at the local pitch and putt after watching the open on TV. (Same thing with tennis after wimbledon). but only realy played for a year or so and my friends got bored. I then didnt play for about 10 years then again after watching the Open on TV a friend asked if i would like to go to the driving range with him. So £50 later on a cheap set of Donnays from sport soccer and i was on the course. That was about 10 years back and i havent looked back since.
