Done it again

Posted by: user25268 | Thu 21st Feb 2008 21:05 | Last Reply

Played on tuesday and finally managed to break 100 for only the second time, [ yes i know its winter tees and greens ]. Instead of trying to get it in the hole in the fewest number of strokes i decided to try just to play to my handicap, played for a bogie were i had one stroke and double bogie were i had two strokes and so on, result went round in 99 ! HURRAH. that included hitting a couple of bunkers and taking two to get out plus the odd three putt. I'm now looking forward to the start  of the monthly medal and see if i can get my handicap a little more respectable. Even 27.6 would do

P.S. i even had the same ball all the way round which makes a change

Congratulations Brian,

I too have been breaking 100 recently and i think playing on the winter tee's is harder as the tee does not keep still and the ball falls off, plus they put them in at annoying angles (usually next too the trees) ....Thats my excuss and i'm sticking to it
