Recovery after broken hip

I'm female, 59  with a 27 handicap. I was pretty fit and playing twice a week until I slipped on a grape in the local supermarket and broke my right hip. How long will it be before I can play again?

To break your hip at your age would suggest a weakness in the density of your bones. You will know when it feels good enough to walk and swing and lets hope it is soon.

I think your general fitness will be a help in your recovery Pam. Sorry to read of your accident and here's hoping you get back out there soon.
