Could somone please explain

I would imagine that the software takes the stableford popints as the criteria for placings in the table as opposed to the nett scores or it could be that Neil Astburys scores are incorrect as off 27 to score 29 points he would have needed to go round in 106. The fact that he is down as scoring 108 gross means that he has added the strokes over a blob.

Not a good idea to try and run two different competitions at once.

thanks for the response John, what do you mean by running 2 competitions at once. If you mean calculating the stapleford points then this is purely down to the software as i only elected to run a strokeplay comp. I would appreciated it if you would elaborate. Thanks Col

i'll check, suspect a bug's creeped in.  under strokeplay nett scores are used, and only if equal should a place be tied.

i think what john is referring to is that points shouldn't technically show because these are irrelevant in a stroke play competition.  the software just automatically calculates points anywya. 

11th, 12th and 13th are right despite points being misaligned, so will check the reason for the tied 4th place.
