Mentmore Golf Club

I heard today that Mentmore has gone bust!!! A friend on Facebook joined this year as they did a deal for armed service and emergency service personnel, and she is a police officer. I don't know whether members will lose money (for instance if they paid in full rather than a monthly subscription), but I believe they are also quite popular for weddings etc, and I'm sure there will be a huge number of (not just golfers) disappointed people affected by this.

That's right Terry, members were told on sunday... I was due to play there in a corporate day week after next. lovely setting and two great courses that I first played 20 years ago. I'm sure someone will buy it.
