Hi, has any one on here been to this event before?

The reason I ask is, are they really that strict on the use of cameras?

I fully understand that no pro or amateur like to be distracted whilst "in the zone" of playing a shot but as a first time visitor to a pro event I'd like to come away with some pictures of some of the golfers. I really want to take my camera but seeing how strict the rules sean to be I don't want to have it confiscated.

Go on the pro-am or practise days if you want to snap pics.

Yeah that's what the info says but sadly I was told my tickets were for the first match day so that's what we've sorted out time off work for but in fact they are for any day.

Still looking forward to seeing how it's really done!
