Golf is a strange game. One Golfer will set the standard high and others follow and we see a number of great golfers. One of them greats then raises the standard again and the cycle starts again. Tiger set the 'Mark', now we await the next 'Mark'. Will that be set by Rory or Speith?, I don't know, but if you ask either of those guys "will they be the next Tiger?" and they will say "no, I'll be the first ME".

I don't think there will be any one person who will dominate golf like Tiger did during his peak.

There are so many great golfers around now.

Rory looked like he could be one of the very top players, but at the masters he looked average compared to others playing.

It does appear that there are four or five very good golfers who will be at or near the top for years to come.

They will have their peaks and troughs though, so for six months one will be better than the rest.

It will be interesting to see how it turns out.

@Russell I completely agree with you no one can match Tiger Woods class but definitely there are some fine players like Rory, Spieth and others....
