RIP The Golf Channel UK

Hi everyone Happy new year and i haven't been on the site for ages, so sorry but the sad thing happened yesterday as i heard that Sky have removed the Golf Channel Uk from Channel 423 and has gone but that isn't Sky's fault but the channel itself as they said on a different forum that they will taking it off the air but i'm one very disappointed as it was the only channel with News, and decient programming and Live LPGA Tour golf so only time will tell if they bring it back or try to get the full rights with the Golf Channel in the US and will broadcast again.

Yep ditto, I liked the playing lessons with the pro teaching the 2 golfers on the course, some really dodgy handicaps on that show tho, and the ladies for their swings, of course.....

Gotta agree with David Setanta is a good one (although have a great tenancy to keep showing reruns of the 30min programmes - but thats not their fault i guess we need mnore golf programmes)

One of my favourite shows is natalie gulb....oops i mean the golf great destinations/journey programmes...

The golf channel came with the other sports channels whereas Setanta costs an extra tenner or so a month.

Same for me Dave.  I upped my Virgin media package for about £8 so my wife could have some more junk TV and got all the Setanta channels free.

Well worth it!
