Wanting to take up golf

Hi I need advice on clubs I can get good price on set of irons but it says they're 2 degrees up but I don't know what this means

usually 2 degrees upright would suit someone around 6 feet tall. But if you find you are sending the ball left, try holding the club an inch or so further down the grip so that the sole of the club lies flat on the ground !
