My little lad has now turned seven and he's progressing well. Playing in another club competition tomorrow and he's looking forward to it!

Wow, what a great day! He won, he actually won! Shot 22 points over 9 holes to win by a point. His putting was excellent today! Nothing more than a 2 putt, the fun putting games must working! He even got a £5 voucher for the club shop, he was made up.

My little girl even won her Try Golf competition as well! A three hole challenge that she shot her first par in.

I took part in our scratch cup yesterday 36 holes so I was at the club much later than normal on a Sunday. As we got close to finishing the second round I could see the first few holes were full of dads with their kids playing golf. It was so nice to see the next generation of golfers out there learning the game young and more importantly enjoying it! Great to see your kids too Chris!
