Next Time Keep It Shut
There I was yesterday on the 18th tee after quietly knocking together a decent round (for my level). Then the mouth waggled - "hey Tony, this is the same ball I have used all round and a half decent card to boot"
"Low 90's or better" Tony says."Probably just low 90's but same ball" I say. Then pre shot focus etc before nailing the ball 30 yards right and through the bushes.
Result - lost ball and three off the tee.
Ended on a 6 and wandered off to the car for the count up and guess what...
A bl**dy 91 scored - how close to breaking 90 - never again will I speak

I never uttered a word or got involved in any fun and games with the lads. I stayed totally focused for 18 holes and played the best round of life
I would rather stick with my golf as it is, if it means no fun and games with the lads.

Well what if you had played 17 then counted your score, you would have been teeing off on 18 with a score of 85 knowing a par on, probably, the easiest hole on the course would be enough, what would have then happened on the last tee?
I am sure you would have been thinking about your score on the tee regardless of weather you'd opened your gob....
