A New Fun Way to Play Golf

Posted by: user88724 | Mon 7th Jul 2014 13:10 | Last Reply

I call it 'Tennis' as (apart from on the putting green) you always are allowed two swings at the ball, just the same as in tennis.

One hits two balls each time, choosing one's best ball, and then playing two attempts from that best finish ball location until one has a ball on the green. Once on the green one only has one attempt at putting.

It's a fun way to play when there are few others on the course, unless of course one held a club's 'Tennis' golf comp. day.

No more cursing 'I know that I could have done MUCH better given a second chance!'

It has to be good. My average score has come crashing down. When has a golfer ever turned his back on score improvement?
