Looking to book a golf break in September and was wondering if someone could recommend an area or particular place to stay that will still have a few bars open for post round antics! Would prefer to be staying near & playing 'championship' courses!
Suggestions?

Lauro golf resort & residential ,only half an hour drive from malaga airport and with 27 holes

La manga. The appartments are 5 mins away from all 3 championship courses & la manga town is 10 mins & they run a free shuttle bus both ways 
Been going there the last 6 years & can't find anything better on price/location & facilities. Will be going again this year in October with 12 others.

A friend has just come back from La Manga and said pretty much the same as John. They had 3 nights bed, brekkie and dinner plus 2 rounds of golf for just over £300. Dinner was from a choice of 5 different restaurants so not just hotel food. Apparently they got the deal through that company that Darren Clarke is promoting.
