Twelve months on, Leeds City Council have again said they want to close two Muni's that are costing them £214,000 each year to maintain. Gotts Park and Middleton Park. Gotts I can understand because not enough people play it because of the hills. Middleton is well used though, so who's got a spare few quid? You could get a bargain here, but be warned, you couldn't buy the land, only rent the course.

Is this the norm in other parts of the country who do you just have an abundance of courses in and around Leeds ? I've heard of a few going up for sale in Scotland but not many other places.
