All credit to Rory

If you’re like me you will have been delighted to see Rory McIlroy wait until after the Walker Cup at Royal County Down to turn pro. Granted, it was being played in his homeland, but I thought it great that he still ranked the contest with the USA high on his priority list.  It doesn’t help GB&I’s chances when great talents like Richie Ramsay and before him James Heath turn pro just before the event. And all for a place in the Russian Open…..
