portugal golf insurance

Apologies for not posting to often on here fellas as I mainly use it for my handicap.

A few of us are heading to the Algarve in June to play a weekend of golf and I was just after some advice on the sort of insurance I will need to take out and if anyone can recommend any companies?. Thanks in advance, Simon

All you need to do is add your golf clubs onto your regular travel insurance, things i look out for are value of clubs, make sure you gt them covered for what they are worth. Also i would make sure that they offer replacement clubs or club hire should anything happen to them or they not make it to portugal for some reason. I playe din portugal for 5 days in March and it cost me £8 to add it onto my normal insurance and covered my golf gear up to £2000.
