Old thorns

Does old thorns golf course except a golfshake handicap certificate?

If for an Open club competitions then likely no but if it's for social play and it's high likely you should be okay. Just drop them an email prior to play, must that still require handicap proof are just after playing ability and may have handicap limits.

played there a few times,excellent venue,probably the best all rounder in the south

I played there in the autumn and wasn't asked for a certificate for a purely social round, there are better courses very close by though PG
