Stampyourballs ball marking
Stampyourballs is a simple concept to mark golf balls instead of using a pen.
I've got a liverbird motif and there is no chance I could draw this myself. There are 50 designs to choose from (from quite complex, to fairly simple motifs too ... surely something for everyone? ), with red and blue ink options. They are simple to use, just take the lid off and press onto the ball, and you can mark 150 balls from one stamper, so plenty for most users. The lids can also be personalised for clubs/societies etc.
The ink is very fast drying, so you can easily use the stamp on the first tee with no smudging. I used mine during the wet of this winter and found the imprint still intact at the end of the round. I would guess its quite easy to reprint over the top of the first stamp on the simpler designs but could be more difficult with the intricate designs.
I might have to buy another if they become too popular, or if they add green ink to the choices

Great to read a review about a product I designed and produced.....it took three years to perfect and get the ink right....we took the stamper to the PGA Show in Orlando, seemed strange to be the smallest brand in golf to be next to all the big boys.....someone had a full size tank as part of their display...we arrived with a suitcase...anyway they loved it,so we need not have worried... We now have over 50 designs,we can add any logo to the lid,so perfect for charity events, captains days and of course society events....the website has all the information and contact details...hope you like it...www.stampyourballs.com will be great to get some feedback and input

Bought one for my boyfriend & so far it's doing exactly what it should, quick to dry & doesn't smudge. Can play 18 & still looks like just been stamped, great product... now I want one!

Sounds pretty much like the TinCup product I've been using for over a year. They have lots of designs & are very easy to use.

Tin cup is a stencil that you have to mark with a sharpie, this is effectively the stencil and sharpie all in one and you just press it onto the ball .... as simple as it can be.

the www.stampyourballs.com stamper really isnt the same as the tin cup idea, other than leaving an impression, with thier tool you need to buy a steel tool and have an indelible pen,and the time to do it....the stampyourballs idea is quicker and neater.... you may like to view someone who posted on u tube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gjG31wM-e7A using the tool,it dries in a few seconds and of course can be applied during a round The other bonus is the lid can be personalised with a club, company or society logo(min order for that option is only 25 and set up is free)

I have succumbed to this blatent advertising and just received my 3 stamps (2 are gifts for friends). I'm really impressed! Really nice little thing and the ink dries really quickly. I suspect many of my golf friends will be getting these as gifts - makes a change from a pair of golf socks!

Never play the wrong ball again By Bunkered Golf Magazine on June 30, 2014
stampyourballs.com We’ve all been guilty of it. Rushing up to a ball you’ve assumed to be yours, hitting it down the fairway, only to realise it wasn’t yours. Now with stampyourballs.com you’ll never run that risk again.
The golf brand has created a product that allows you to identify your ball with one of its many designs. The stamp is large enough to be clearly visible, without being overpowering. It’s also durable enough to withstand strike after strike.
“The MK V Stamper has been produced with over 50 designs.”
According to the brand’s official site, the process is easy, with a vast range of designs to choose from. “It is simple and effective to use, and after many attempts to perfect the tool, design and ink, the MK V Stamper has been produced with over 50 designs.”
If only someone had told Hunter Mahan…
Playing the 18th hole at the US Open with Jamie Donaldson, both men found the fairway. That’s when the trouble started.
Both players were playing a Titleist ProV1x, and failed to properly identify their own ball before hitting their approach shots.
Once they arrived at the green and marked their balls, they realized that they had hit each other’s ball. Disaster. The returned to the spot of their approach shots to take a penalty drop and played the hole out from there. Both Mahan and Donaldson signed for a double-bogey six.
Had they played out the hole and teed off (they began their round at the ninth) at the next hole the pair would have been disqualified.
Untitled R&A rules
Marking your ball with Stampyourballs.com is an easy way to make sure you aren’t in danger of breaking the rules.
According to the R&A: “You are advised to put an identification mark on your ball. Many golfers play the same brand of ball and if you can’t identify your ball, it is considered lost. (Rules 12-2 and 27-1) 1 / 4 Buying from Stampyourballs.com
Most markers are priced at £5.99 individually and you get around 150 stamps out of each one.

I have recently purchased one of these as I wanted to compare it to the 'tin cups' that I have. I must say that I'm really impressed. Very easy to use & it's quick & easy to use.
The only thing I would say where it fails against the tin cup is the actual size of the marking. The balls which are marked with the tin cup are very easy to see & don't require much 'veryfying'. The 'stamp' I sometimes have to bend down & look to make sure that it is my marking.
Overall I am going to stick with the 'stamp'.

thanks John,we have just loaded some new designs today www.stampyourballs.com
there is a claret jug, witch and USA in red and blue I get the point about size, some impress bigger than others but only by a mm or so,the reason is the curvature on the ball and the stamper edge is flat,if its too big it doesnt all come out Excuse the pun but its been a learning curve from day one and overall the response has been really positive, from gnarled old coaches like David Leadbetter through Paul Lawrie down to us hackers
