Titliest Vokey Wedges

hi does anybody have any advise regarding spin milled vokey wedges(the mrs wants to buy em for crimbo) have read that they tear balls to shreds does this only happen with the spin milled type ? or do all the vokeys do it

any advise would be apprieciated

But ar'nt they talking about banning U grooves in favour of V grooves on wedges?

The spin milled part has nothing to do with the face grooves, it refers to the finish on the club face.  The lateral grooves actually detract from the amount of spin that can be generated as it reduces the surface area at impact.  See my boring tome on spin milled wedges here http://golfshake.com/forums/view/1030/Spin_milled_wedges.html if you can keep awake.
