Greensomes pairs stable ford hcap

Posted by: user26342 | Tue 5th Nov 2013 20:43 | Last Reply

I'm playing in a greensomes pairs stable ford comp this Sunday & I'm wondering how the hcaps will be worked out. I'm off 14 & my partner will be off 20.

Answers please?

I think you'll be looking at 3/8s of the combined or something like that. I have played it before and its a decent format. A similar (but rarely played) version is yellowsomes where your competitors pick your drive.

Your handicap should be 16.4 if the CONGU recommendation is followed. 0.6 times lower handicap plus 0.4 times the higher handicap.

James, I think your correct, I've rang the club to check & that's what they've told me. Well done
