After his episode, Bernard as stated that all golf clubs should have a Defibilater on hand. I will go one further and state that all PGA staff should have at least simple first-aid training. I have said this for many years but the PGA are still to add even a simple CPR course to their training programme.

We've had one at our club for about 18 months now. Fortunately, I don't think we've had to use it yet!

We have had the air ambulance come to the assistance of golfer on the course on at least two occasions.
