Handicap Card Requests

Hi, could anyone confirm if Handicap Cards are requested when playing Celtic Manor or Vale?
It doesn't stipulate on the websites that they need one, but wanted to confirm before heading down there.

no they are not. I took three friends with me and we was well looked after from start to finish by them cleaning my shoes and clubs after the round that was on the 2012 course
