28 Plus handicappers
Darren
If i was to change my society 28+ handicappers status's to junior and re-calculate their handicaps would they rise above 28 ceiling giving a true reflection of their ability?

No one can have more than 28 shots surely ** ?
The answer to the question is yes it would.
** except for Juniors and Women.

Amazingly some players do need more than 28 shots over par, although the really skilled players only require 27.9 shots (or less)

if i do this just to see what their handicaps "would be" will it effect their previous rounds. i assume not but checking just to be on the safe side

There are a couple of lads in our society playing off 36, and it works quite well as they still score enough points to make it interesting, but off 28 would'nt.

Have put one player back to their correct allocation and rerun the handicap calc but their handicap remains the same at 28.5 even scored 40 points on the last game is this right?

Have manually adjusted back to 28 then rerun the calc and it sticks at 28. Surely this should come down to 27.something
