An offer & chance for Brownie Points

Posted by: user33026 [FORUM MODERATOR] | Tue 23rd Jul 2013 23:34 | Last Reply

An offer for golfshakers out there. If anyone wants to come to Minchinhampton for 36 holes (18 on each course) on Sat 3rd or Sun 4th of August you are welcome to join me for a green fee of £28 for the day. I have booked rounds with the first at 10:06 Saturday and 10:30 Sunday. Unfortunately I am only allowed 3 guests per day so first come, first served

The brownie points opportunity comes because across the road (literally) the Festival of British Eventing will be taking place at Gatcombe Park. The entrance to the car parking for Gatcombe is opposite the golf club entrance. If your other half or kids like horses this is a great day out for them with lots going on; my wife will be there both days. It starts about 9:30 and finishes about 18:30 so the timing coincides nicely with the timing of the rounds of golf

If you want to drop the family off for a day out and come play golf just reply to this post

A very cunning plan and one I would have taken up if it wasn't Medal Day on Saturday and then Alliance Day on the Sunday. Shame, love it at Minchinhampton.

Yes please. I guess there would be time for a light lunch in between rounds.

With a 4 hour round there is 54 mins between rounds. Should be plenty

That's two Saturday spots gone. One left. Unless Kev is coming too Dave, especially since he missed last time

Shame Kev. I know you would've enjoyed, especially as you missed last time. There'll be other chances
