Course in Manchester area for High handicapper?

Posted by: user540977 | Tue 16th Jul 2013 10:29 | Last Reply

Hi,

Any advice or suggestions for a course in and around manchester for the high handicapper? I have played Heaton Park a few times, and it's very hilly, not many times you get a flat lie, was hoping to get to a flatter course soon, but wanted to ask peoples opinions first?

Try Boysnope near the Trafford centre flat but still a great course also very reasonably priced.

Cheers lads, will check out William Wroe too, I've been past Altrincham and used the range and its always very busy, not sure I'm confident enough yet to play with a crowd!

Try Northenden mate its cheap enough really well run PGA standard greens and challenging enough. Winds around the river Irwell i think it is not hilly at all.

Varied success at the 11th, enjoyment was linked to that, Best I've done is a 4, but that was from the ladies tee, other times 6 and 7 i think. Cracking hole tho! I played altrincham last week and had a shocker. I also Played Cousldon down in London with my bro, was pretty happy with my 109. Playing Boysnope some point this week I think.
