Square hitting versus Rotational method

Hi everyone, it's a while since I posted last. I am hitting the ball using the rotational method as taught by my Golf pro, but have just learned that there is a different system called " Square hitting ". Has anyone tried this method or even adopted it . I am willing to try anything , as I am practicing and playing regularly but not seeing any real reduction of scores, I record usually between 105-120.
