Taylormade burner driver

Posted by: user26342 | Thu 1st Nov 2007 19:06 | Last Reply

I'd be interested to know if anyone else has this problem.

This driver is an inch longer than a standard driver & when I tried to put my raincover on my bag with it in I found that it wouldn't fit!!!!

This happens when using my Adams stand bag so I'd like to know of other people who have this club & what bag they use & can they fit the raincover with it in??

Thanks,

John..

You should think yourself lucky John. All my clubs are an inch longer than standard. No chance of getting my rain cover on.

I must be way out of touch, as I have never used a rain cover in all my years of playing the game, although I can sympathise with those of you who have clubs a little longer in getting them into the bag for travel abroad.

As so few golfers use those awful broomhandle putters it would be too much to expect them to make a bag to suit so few players, especially as I doubt they would buy them anyway. Far better that the broomhandle putter was made hinged so that it could be opened up when needed, or better still, ban them.

Like David, I too do not play in the rain, as golf to me is supposed to be a pleasure, well, I don't find rain a pleasure.
