You may have noticed that last week we installed the first phase of the new and improved group/society section with an improved navigation system, more features and a dedicated group/society mini site.

Be sure to check out the newly updated help files for further information.

You can see some information and screenshots below.

The golf group/society provides access to :

  • Private group message board
  • Group news and blog
  • Group image uploads
  • Group video uploads
  • Group logo and description
  • Dynamic home page showing latest information from your group
  • Member list and information
  • Member report and stats overview
  • Member stats report in PDF format
  • Group/society competitions and events
  • Group/society leaderboards
  • Group/society results and player history
  • User comparison analysis (upto 4 players)
  • Virtual leaderboard (based on points, FIR, GIR, putts)
  • Administrators can also run all aspects of a society online
    • including managing accounts and members online

The PDF Report for the Stats isn't working.

I keep getting the following error message

Acrobat could not open 'competitionPDF.php.pdf' becuase it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded).

To create an Adobe Acrobat PDF documen, go to the source application. The print the document to Adobe PDF.

         OK

Sorry Col. What do you mean '2bplayed' ?

I do have a number of other updates for the groups, from the forums and other stuff which will go live over the next few days.
