Another bad round, this time a 78 in the first round of the The Memorial.

Every golfer has a slump but is it more what's happening off the course effecting what's happening on it?

Could be a combination of public/press pressure and self expectation. Obviously he'll have the distraction of all of the extra press and sponsor events etc. This happened to Martin Kaymer a few years ago. Looked like one of your typical German winners a la Schumacher/Vettel/Becker etc - became #1 and couldn't handle it. The self expectation could be a case of he has a par par par start to a round and expects himself to start moving up the gears thinking "Hey, I'm world number 1/2, I should be doing better here" ....and as all golfers do at all levels when trying to case the birdies, you dont play your natural game and you lose shots rather than gain them.

Rory best player I've ever seen he will be bck very soon better than before as golfers you know your selves it comes and goes but this kid is somthing special

He is young and in love with lots going on off course for young man some handle it all better than others but he be bck with bang watch him in remaining majors he pick 1 up again this year get your money on him
