I think Darren is waiting for a long range weather forecast to identify when the weather will be at its very worst before committing to a date!

Yes I'm currently in hibernation waiting to wake up when the sun and dry weather arrives!

Seriously though I'm hoping to sort this week but will admit last year took it's toll with 2 events technically cancelled organising events doesn't seem to work too well for me

How far south do these events tend to go? As I am 5mins walk from the south coast :-)

I guess Wales is south of the Midlands - just

Have you Ever thought about playing it in the Blackpool area 10 courses within 10 miles

Blackpool is too far North Linden. Ideally it needs to be a central location to make travel suitable for all. Imagine someone in the south team living in Bournemouth having to get to Blackpool for the game!

I still think we should do the Forest of Arden. 5 miles from the middle of the country (Meriden) with two courses, they do a Sunday Driver package. Round on Aylesford, round on Arden (used to be home of the British Open), dinner, room, breakfast. All for £129pp. Available all year too

In reality it will be +4 wherever it ends up being, although i would prefer it not to be the Abbey.
